Chess coach. Berlin based. Fifteen years of playing, thinking, and competing at the board.
Prince has been playing chess for as long as he can remember. Growing up, the board was never just a game — it was a way of thinking, a discipline, a language. By the time most people are still learning the rules, he was already studying positions.
Based in Berlin, Prince coaches players of all levels — from complete beginners picking up a piece for the first time, to competitive players preparing for tournaments. His approach is direct and personal. No standard curriculum, no generic lessons. Every session is built around the person sitting across from him.
What sets Prince apart is his ability to read where a student is — not just their rating, but how they think, what they fear, and what they are ready to learn. He meets people where they are and builds from there.
Fifteen years in, chess is still the thing he returns to. The problems change, the opponents change, the positions are never the same — and that, he will tell you, is exactly the point.
"I always loved chess since I was a child. There is something about the game that never leaves you."
